Summer = Movies

So, this is the preview of my movie. It is about a guy named Fred who has this sock he needs to destroy it, but when he can't he goes to Langley, Washington to look for help. After fruitless searching around the library, he comes across a dwarf, a rare being that isn't really short, and a quest ensues. They must journey to the mystical and dark... South Whidbey Marina. They are not able to get there themselves, and so they must journey north to Mikes Place, and find a guide to lead them. When they find the bum Mo, Fred has some problems with the guy, but as they travel into the territory of the wraiths they must stick close together. This is an action packed movie with sort of funny scenes. I am going to enter it in the Raindance Film Festival, and also the preview, since it is nearlly as good as out movie. And remeber, you don't know the power of the dark side.

P.S. The complete Lord of the Socks movie will come out June 17th.

What attracted you to this project?
I have always liked surviving in the wilderness, and I think it would be cool to put us to the test.

What hobbies and interests do you have?
I like making stuff from wood, or sticking together a lot of materials, and reading.

What qualities do you and your family have that make you suited to this experience?
We can work together well, and function as a unit.

What skills do you have that may help you?

What would you hope to get out of the experience?
I would hope to be closer to my family, really get to know them, and be able to understand what it was like for pioneers in 1983.

What do you think will be the most difficult challenge of pioneer life?
I think it would be hardest to work all the time, and not have lots of extra time.

What skills would you like to learn from the experience?
I would like to learn more about farming, caring for live stock, and generally how the pioneers lived.

We'd like you to tell us:
What interests you about this project?
I think it would be cool to live like the pioneers, really go into the past, so we can understand our history better.

My Weekend 2

It has been a week since the west side Santa incident. I have done well all week, but the bus wasn't so great. So I get on the bus, just sitting there, not doing much, and talking to Nicole. Then when we were passing the Intermediate School the bus stopped, and someone got on. I didn't realize it was Jack until he was already by me. We are going 30 on the road now, and Jack is finally keeping his promise to throw me out a window. I am dangling half out of the bus, and the transit is coming up, so I am freaking out it will hit my top half. Right before it hits me though, Jack pulls me back in, and so I am like "Jack!" and right when I think it is all right he stuffs me out the window on the other side. So I am lying on the side of the road and the bus hasn't stopped. So I decide to walk home. So I start walking, and I see this sign, that says "Shortcut to Chase's house" and I am like "Yes!" So I am walking through the forest, and what do you know, there is that big bear again, this time next to Santa! So I kick Santa and start fighting this bear with my bear hands. I finally beat him up, and he runs away, but Santa hits me over the head with one elves. So I am lying on the ground, and he SITS on me! Now I have a broken rib cage, and an elf kicking me, so I throw the elf at Santa and run home. Sadly I never made it home. Right before I get home the bear comes out again, but this time he has a gun. Right as he shoots at me I do the matrix, and the bullets miss and hit Santa and his elf and so they start fighting the bear, and I run and hide in the fairgrounds. A while later I saw some elves digging a grave, and a little kid crying, because it was Santa's.
THE END

My Weekend

This weekend I did a LOT. So on Friday I went to see Inkheart at the Clyde, but it was bad. So I went home (and this is where stuff gets good), there was a bear in my yard. I got out of my car and told it to get lost, but it wasn't to happy, and it roared at me. So right, I shove it over*, and it falls in some mud. Then it gets up and grabs my head, after chasing me a bit, and roars at me. Then I slap it's hand and it runs away. Then the next day I am walking in our woods, and WHAM! This bear jumps out and mugs me! While I was down, he took my wallet, and spit in my face. So I punch him and he runs away whimpering. Then I relaxed for the rest of the day. Then on Sunday I went in to town. I am walking around the east side of the town, when this big guy in a Santa suit jumps out screaming "west side" and starts chasing me! I finally turn around punch him, but it turns out that isn't a fake suit, and my hand bounces back and hits me in the face! Oww. Then he leaves, and I spend the rest of the day in bed.

*This part about a bear is based off when P.J. wouldn't let me up the stairs, and I pushed him and he spilled his milk on his lap, so he grabbed my ear and said NO, No, No.

Intimate Conversation with a Taco

Dear Taco,
You are yummy,
very filling.

You are stuffed,
with lettuce,
cheese and meat,
and maybe a tomato.

You are not to healthy,
but greasy,
and tasty,
and so I eat you,
filling my stomach.

I ate you once,
now I am back for more,
jump in my mouth,
and fill my yummy tummy.

Just to Say

Just to make you feel better,
I am sorry,
for taking the bike,
the one as fast,
as an eagle,
in the sky unsurpassed.

If it makes you feel any better,
I knew,
when I was light as a feather,
weaving through the forest,
made of cars,
and a random street light,
that on my furious flight,
that bird,
soaring on the breeze,
was truly,
king of the sky.

What am I?

I am as light,
as the wind on your back,
for I float over the ground,
but I can be heavy,
And when I am,
I will shurely fall,
breaking,
like glass upon the ground,
before I meet the earth.
You can touch me,
but may take me only after I break.
When I am light,
I stay the color,
of a new egg,
but heavy,
a differant color,
like a gloomy day.

I shine like I'm bright,
but don't really,
have my own light.
Seems so far,
really pretty close,
white as the bone,
and dusty as the shelf.
You plant,
your flags on me,
like roses in the dirt,
and look at me,
through glass,
rounded,
like a bent sheet of metal.

I am wet,
never drying,
mad one moment,
nice the next.
My anger is great,
throwing wood toys about,
and taking,
many a secret treasure.
When I am calm,
many relish in me,
feeling my cool,
after a long hot day,
and creatures in me,
hurry to go away.
What am I?

Highlight below for answer:
The Ocean

What if thoughts were wings?

What if,
thoughts were wings?
Authors would be able,
to touch the moon!
Little kids,
would touch the stars.
Leaders would soar,
while their blind followers,
are stuck on the ground.
Would I be exploring,
far away planets?
What if?
Were would we be?

My California Vacation

This Christmas vacation I went with my family to CA. We left for San Diego on the Friday school got out, and we drove for two whole days! We did get to bring our Playstation 2 with us, and I got to bring my DS. We got to San Diego at about 6:00 on Sunday, and we went out to eat at Home Town Buffet with my Granpa. He always eats there. Then for the next couple days we just did stuff like shop, and sit in my Ganpa's house. His house was so hot! It wasn't even funny. If we just sat on our bed we would start sweating. Then we had Christmas there and I got an Ipod Nano, but my Mom got an I-touch, so now I really want one of those. I also got a couple of new games for my DS. Oh, and when we were there we saw my uncle Scott, and our aunt who isn't really our aunt, Patty. She is really cool! Then we went to Hemet, and I spent the night with my friend from there, since that is were I used to live. Then we went to Las Vegas, and for the first day we shoped, then the next we went on rides in the Adventure Dome, then went to the Midway and played games. Then we went to Reno, and watched the New Years Fireworks. Then we drove all the way back here to Whidbey Island. We got home at 5 in the morning, after eating at Dennys at 4 in the morning!

The Amazing Claymation

This is a claymation that my partner and I had to make in English. It is about Hernando Cortes and not only his voyage to the new world, but his whole life. We had to take a picture and then move the clay just a bit, then do that over and over. Then we had to load it on a computer and put the pictures together so it looks like the clay is moving.

The most enjoyable part of the claymation was the computer editing. When we got to add in voices in was really funny. Especially when we had to do the Aztec ya-ya-ya thing. It was pretty cool to make your own music on garage band to. It was also fun to voice the girl. It was adding credits were cool, and I liked the dedication. I also liked the part when it said the J.C. production, and the kid laughs. That isn't me, I found it on garage band. It wasn't the funnest when we had to import to google video though. It took forever!

The hardest part of making a claymation was the time. We took a lot of pictures, so we had to move it very little. We took 420 pictures in the love life scene! Also, because of the amount of pictures we took, it took a long time to make into a quick time. Then we also had to upload it to google video. Then I had to download it at home, and post to YouTube! It gave us time to watch Mikes' video. So that wasn't to bad. But I was tired of waiting so long!

The most important thing I learned was that when you really persist it will pay off. We had to keep persisting and taking pictures, and in the end we would have a really smooth claymation. We had to wait for like a quarter hour and then we had it on quicktime. Then we had to wait half an hour for it to load to google. Then we had to wait six hours for it to be playable on google. So even though it took us a really long time (and I mean a really long time), it payed off with a prettyn good claymation. We had to keep working when we got tired of sitting next to Mike. Or maybe everybody was being way to loud and we had to record. Or maybe Jack just wouldn't share his camera. But in the end it worked out pretty well.

So we now have the video here, on google, and on youtube. I actually wish we could make another. You should rate it 5 stars on youtube! Thank you for your support! Bye!

Everything and Some

Okay, I am just going to talk about stuff that has happened to me. So first, today we owned pretty bad in the inter mural volleyball. Well, actually, we aren't that great, but we have Ellie Greene and Chelby, who are pretty good. And then we have me! Okay, we were against mostly seventh graders to, so they weren't that good anyway. Also, one piece of advice, never hit the ball with both hands out to one side, and hit it like that. I tried and the ball just hit me in the face. It hurt. Next, is about either my eighth grade project, or a class assignment. So for our eighth grade project we are going to make a movie. Unless the class assignment to make one is first. So Cameron wants to make a horror movie, or have some some air soft war, where we could smear ketchup if we got hit, and make it all intense. I just want to make sure there is one seen that someone in a kayak is paddling through some reeds at Deer Lake, and have to jump out. I don't reallly mind why they jump out, as long as it is cool, but I like some people in a speed boat shooting at them as a good reason. Or I want a Comedy, which would be really cool. Well, that is about it for today, but when something else interesting happns I will write about it.

Misadventure Ed.

Okay, so first I will talk about my worst moment that has to do with animals. *HINT* Furry, black and white masked beings of evil that are really cool looking. Raccoons. They were actually really scary, because you could see their eyes glinting in the dark. Also, I was in the tent farthest away from camp, and it was right next to these three pine trees that the raccoons would run around and climb. And you should never pitch your tent underneath raccoon infested trees, because they will attack from above. Well, not really, but they did try to pull my pack up a tree. Then they dug under my pack and ate a hole in the bottom. You know, I never did find my Chili Mac and Beef Mountain House meal after that, although I found a bunk of rice stuff at the bottom of my pack. Then I put my pack under my rain fly and just before I fell asleep I heard a scraping noise. I sat up and when I looked toward my backpack it wasn't there! I looked outside the rain fly and a raccoon was sitting on my pack scratching it. So I put it back under my rain fly after a hand-to-hand battle with the vicious raccoon. I won. Then I just went to sleep. At one point I thought I heard scraping, but when I looked nothing was amiss. When I woke up I found my little pocket in the back pack open and my headlamp nearby. It didn't take me long to realize that the raccoons had stolen my camera. Now I will tell you about a cool moment. Okay we were all walking along the beach, and Mr. Davis was in front, with two other people, I am not sure who, when he saw a black bear! We all just watched it for a while, and then it started coming towards us. And so we all found sticks and rocks and stuff, and Sean is telling us how big its teeth and claws are because he had a telescope thing. But then it just walked away. Well, that's it for now!

All About Zork and Stuff

Okay. First I am going to write about Zork 1. First, if you ever get really far in it, make sure you save often. Because you see, when I played, I couldn't save, so when I accidentally rode the inflated boat, I went off the waterfall and couldn't get any of my stuff back, and I was really, really far. Also, since you will never be able to figure it out, when you get to place were you find the shovel, take it, then go on the way you were headed, and dig in the next room. Remember, dig until you find something. Another game I own at is mini-pacman, and it really is mini. the whole game is about the size of my thumbs fingernail. Luckily there is only one bad bloop guy. Actually, I am just O.K. Sean is way better than me. Third, in my Adventure Ed. class we get to backpack for 5 days on the Washington coast. We have to record our journey in these really cool journals we made. We already hiked Mount Pilchuck, but that was for only one day. It was really cool, because it was cloudy that day, but we hiked up above the clouds so it was really hot. The view was really cool to. On the coast hike I am lucky, because my partner is bringing a big blow up mattress, so it will be really comfortable. After the coast hike, like a couple weeks afterwords, we are going to take a train to California and bus around a city and hike on an island, and walk around and stuff. I am really looking forward to it. Well that is it for now!

Chase's Life

Okay, this is my lifegraph, a thing we had to do in English. It has ten good things on it, and ten bad things. Even though meeting my best friend was really cool, the best thing that has happened to me so far in my life has been going to camp. It was really cool! The one thing I regret was I didn't go allthe way up on the giant swing because I really don't like being high in one of the harnesses, even though I really like flying in planes and stuff. It was really funny when we had the dork dance and my friend and I borrowed dresses from the girls counslers. It was so funny! Also, our get wet get dirty was really fun. We jumped in the pool, then rolled in the dirt, and then ran to wherever we could think mud would be! We were throwing mud, and one of my friends would go take a shower after every mud pit we found! Then we ran to the beach and ran into the water. Everyone said it was freezing, but I don't think it was that cold! Another cool thing was when we took the camps boat (Camp Orkila by the way) and went to Satalite Island. We walked ways when we got there, and went to the other end of the island to see the counslers in training. Then we headed back to our camp, and made a fire, and just hung out. We played lots of card games, like Can't, and explored around our camp and on the beach. We then ate dinner and had smores, then played more card games and stuff, and I would just start laughing pretty randomly, and that would make everyone else laugh, and that was really funny. Then on the way back to the camp the next day, some of us sat in the front of the boat, so we all got wet, and it was really fun. I now want to go again next summer!

My Chaseisms

Okay, these are all my embarrassing moments that my family call "chaseisms". Okay, once we were playing a card game that I had to make a word, and I had two cards, a N and an I. It is really stupid, but I couldn't figure out what I could spell; I kept saying ni? Ni? That is my most embarrassing. Once we got to a hotel on our way to California to see my grandpa, and when our key card wouldn't work, I had a great idea, and voiced it aloud. "We should knock!" Another time we were boating for the summer, and while in Sidney we went to the Sidney Spit. We beached our dingy and walked a bit, but when we saw the dock we decided we wanted to move the dingy down this way. When my dad and my brother went back to get it I asked my very smart question of "Are they going to drag it the whole way?" And it was a heavy dingy. So yes, I, a genius, have said my share of slightly stupid moments. My brother has also made a funny parkerism, since his name is Parker. Once when in Las Vegas, a guy walked into a elevator and then we walked in after him. We pressed 1 and then he pressed 3. My brother, obviously unable to figure it out, asked, "What one are we going to get to first?" So those are my stupid sayings.

Hero's Maze

I made this game, and if you want to make you own you can just click the link below. When you get to sploder you need to register for free with no download to publish it. Then just make the game. When you finish hit My Games, and play. While it is loading scroll down and hit he blogger link!
Hints and cheats! If you take the first up path, go right after that. Then fight the guy, but don't get to close to or shoot the other guy and he won't attack you. Keep going and fight the next three guys. When theyare dead you can get the health and the extra bot to help you! When you get to the end you wll see a lot of keys wit black things around them. Bump into them once and it will become a spider. Twice and it will become atomic! Kill them toget the keys. You need one key of every color to open the three doors you saw earlier and get the last crystal. Sadly though you must get to the end of the spider keys and get th crystal there. From there on it i pretty easy since you can just go back to the doors he way you came! It does get hard when you et to the spider keys, but you can beat it. Good Luck!

Kingdom Keepers

The book Kingdom Keepers is about Finn Whitman, who, along with four other kids, become Disney Hosts Interactive, who are like tour guides in the Magic Kingdom, except holograms. But when they go to bed each night they reawaken in the Magic Kingdom, more DHIs now than human. When they meet Wayne, one of the original workers, an imagineer, he tells them of the Stonecutters Quill, a fable that Walt Disney left to help defeat the overtakers. You see, when the park closes, all the characters come to life. But not only the heroes and good guys come to life, like Goofy, but also the bad guys and villains, like the Pirates of the Caribbean pirates, and the big bad guys like Maleficent, and Ursula. Now as the overtakers start trying to go beyond the parks walls, Finn and the others must find all the clues for how to defeat the first of the overtakers to go after them. They know that the hints in the Stonecutters Quill refer to the sun, rock, clouds, and wind, so they must venture onto the rides at night, which few people now that they stay on, but dark forces are willing to stop them, and don't care about trashing the park. So now, with evil villains after them, Finn and the other DHIs must solve the fable and save Disneyland's Magic Kingdom!

Warriors: Into The Wild

The series Warriors is a really cool series is about a cat who leaves his life as a kittypet and joins Thunder Clan, one of the four clans of the forest, to receive his apprentice name and train to become a Warrior. When Firepaw joins the clan there is much animosity towards him because of his kittypet roots, but the leader of the clan believes in him, because of a prophecy he knows little about, saying that "Fire will save the clan." When his best friend Graypaw and him here from Ravenpaw, a black cat with an avid imagination, that Tigerclaw, a large tabby tom, has murdered the former deputy in his ambition, they know that Tigerclaw is willing to kill his own clan to get his power. Also, the leader of Shadowclan, Brokenstar, is planning to take grounds from the other clans. This is just the first book of the series, so there will be more postings about this series.

Seeing Redd

Seeing Redd is book two in the series The Looking Glass Wars. After Redd jumped through the crystal heart, she was recreated in a artists painting, and begins to get recruits to serve her evil purposes, and is looking for the Garden of Uncompleted Mazes. Mean while King Arch of Boarderland is using clones of Redds destructive glass eyes to attack Wonderland. Alyss is faced with her love for Dodge, a guard for the palace, and disobedience from the loyal Hatter Maddigan out to save his daughter Homburg Molly. Now with Hatter gone rouge, Redd massing forces and searching for the key to her power, and King Arch with a wicked plan for control not yet all the way revealed, Alyss faces her darkest hour yet.

The Looking Glass Wars

Today I started to read "Seeing Redd" book two in the Looking Glass Wars trilogy. The firs book in the series is really cool, and it is like a not as happy but more realistic Alice in Wonderland. The books are really good and now they are making a movie. In the book Alyss Heart is the heir to the queendom of Wonder land, but when her evil aunt Redd invades, she must flee into our world, after her parents are killed, with Hatter Maddigan, the legendary bodygaurd to the queen. When she returns sixteen years later Redd is in total control and city of Wondertropolis is in disrepair as thiefs stalk the dark streets. Alyss must learn to relearn the power of her imagination, for in her world, imagination is real. Using her imagination for instance, she can make an illusion of hundreds of card soldiers, or make a thousand live gwormies. Using her imagination, and her loyal followers, the Alysians, she must battle Redd, and her deadly assasin, The Cat, who her more than friend Dodge Anders is out to kill because of his fathers death has a heart clouded by vengeance. Now Alyss must save the queendom from her diabolic aunt.

Picture Perfect

Yes! I finally got a picture to work! I still have no idea how to add music though.

Confused?!

I have been working on my blog a while, and some of the things like how to upload a picture or music can be really confusing!

My new blog

HI! This is my new blog! I have to do it in english and social studies at my school.
