Summer = Movies

So, this is the preview of my movie. It is about a guy named Fred who has this sock he needs to destroy it, but when he can't he goes to Langley, Washington to look for help. After fruitless searching around the library, he comes across a dwarf, a rare being that isn't really short, and a quest ensues. They must journey to the mystical and dark... South Whidbey Marina. They are not able to get there themselves, and so they must journey north to Mikes Place, and find a guide to lead them. When they find the bum Mo, Fred has some problems with the guy, but as they travel into the territory of the wraiths they must stick close together. This is an action packed movie with sort of funny scenes. I am going to enter it in the Raindance Film Festival, and also the preview, since it is nearlly as good as out movie. And remeber, you don't know the power of the dark side.

P.S. The complete Lord of the Socks movie will come out June 17th.

What hobbies and interests do you have?
I like making stuff from wood, or sticking together a lot of materials, and reading.

We can work together well, and function as a unit.

I would hope to be closer to my family, really get to know them, and be able to understand what it was like for pioneers in 1983.

What do you think will be the most difficult challenge of pioneer life?
I think it would be hardest to work all the time, and not have lots of extra time.

I would like to learn more about farming, caring for live stock, and generally how the pioneers lived.

We'd like you to tell us:

My Weekend 2

It has been a week since the west side Santa incident. I have done well all week, but the bus wasn't so great. So I get on the bus, just sitting there, not doing much, and talking to Nicole. Then when we were passing the Intermediate School the bus stopped, and someone got on. I didn't realize it was Jack until he was already by me. We are going 30 on the road now, and Jack is finally keeping his promise to throw me out a window. I am dangling half out of the bus, and the transit is coming up, so I am freaking out it will hit my top half. Right before it hits me though, Jack pulls me back in, and so I am like "Jack!" and right when I think it is all right he stuffs me out the window on the other side. So I am lying on the side of the road and the bus hasn't stopped. So I decide to walk home. So I start walking, and I see this sign, that says "Shortcut to Chase's house" and I am like "Yes!" So I am walking through the forest, and what do you know, there is that big bear again, this time next to Santa! So I kick Santa and start fighting this bear with my bear hands. I finally beat him up, and he runs away, but Santa hits me over the head with one elves. So I am lying on the ground, and he SITS on me! Now I have a broken rib cage, and an elf kicking me, so I throw the elf at Santa and run home. Sadly I never made it home. Right before I get home the bear comes out again, but this time he has a gun. Right as he shoots at me I do the matrix, and the bullets miss and hit Santa and his elf and so they start fighting the bear, and I run and hide in the fairgrounds. A while later I saw some elves digging a grave, and a little kid crying, because it was Santa's.
THE END

My Weekend

This weekend I did a LOT. So on Friday I went to see Inkheart at the Clyde, but it was bad. So I went home (and this is where stuff gets good), there was a bear in my yard. I got out of my car and told it to get lost, but it wasn't to happy, and it roared at me. So right, I shove it over*, and it falls in some mud. Then it gets up and grabs my head, after chasing me a bit, and roars at me. Then I slap it's hand and it runs away. Then the next day I am walking in our woods, and WHAM! This bear jumps out and mugs me! While I was down, he took my wallet, and spit in my face. So I punch him and he runs away whimpering. Then I relaxed for the rest of the day. Then on Sunday I went in to town. I am walking around the east side of the town, when this big guy in a Santa suit jumps out screaming "west side" and starts chasing me! I finally turn around punch him, but it turns out that isn't a fake suit, and my hand bounces back and hits me in the face! Oww. Then he leaves, and I spend the rest of the day in bed.

*This part about a bear is based off when P.J. wouldn't let me up the stairs, and I pushed him and he spilled his milk on his lap, so he grabbed my ear and said NO, No, No.

Intimate Conversation with a Taco

Dear Taco,
You are yummy,
very filling.

You are stuffed,
with lettuce,
cheese and meat,
and maybe a tomato.

You are not to healthy,
but greasy,
and tasty,
and so I eat you,
filling my stomach.

I ate you once,
now I am back for more,
jump in my mouth,
and fill my yummy tummy.

Just to Say

Just to make you feel better,
I am sorry,
for taking the bike,
the one as fast,
as an eagle,
in the sky unsurpassed.

If it makes you feel any better,
I knew,
when I was light as a feather,
weaving through the forest,
made of cars,
and a random street light,
that on my furious flight,
that bird,
soaring on the breeze,
was truly,
king of the sky.

What am I?

I am as light,
as the wind on your back,
for I float over the ground,
but I can be heavy,
And when I am,
I will shurely fall,
breaking,
like glass upon the ground,
before I meet the earth.
You can touch me,
but may take me only after I break.
When I am light,
I stay the color,
of a new egg,
but heavy,
a differant color,
like a gloomy day.

I shine like I'm bright,
but don't really,
have my own light.
Seems so far,
really pretty close,
white as the bone,
and dusty as the shelf.
You plant,
your flags on me,
like roses in the dirt,
and look at me,
through glass,
rounded,
like a bent sheet of metal.

I am wet,
never drying,
mad one moment,
nice the next.
My anger is great,
throwing wood toys about,
and taking,
many a secret treasure.
When I am calm,
many relish in me,
feeling my cool,
after a long hot day,
and creatures in me,
hurry to go away.
What am I?

What if thoughts were wings?

What if,
thoughts were wings?
Authors would be able,
to touch the moon!
Little kids,
would touch the stars.
Leaders would soar,
while their blind followers,
are stuck on the ground.
Would I be exploring,
far away planets?
What if?
Were would we be?

My California Vacation

This Christmas vacation I went with my family to CA. We left for San Diego on the Friday school got out, and we drove for two whole days! We did get to bring our Playstation 2 with us, and I got to bring my DS. We got to San Diego at about 6:00 on Sunday, and we went out to eat at Home Town Buffet with my Granpa. He always eats there. Then for the next couple days we just did stuff like shop, and sit in my Ganpa's house. His house was so hot! It wasn't even funny. If we just sat on our bed we would start sweating. Then we had Christmas there and I got an Ipod Nano, but my Mom got an I-touch, so now I really want one of those. I also got a couple of new games for my DS. Oh, and when we were there we saw my uncle Scott, and our aunt who isn't really our aunt, Patty. She is really cool! Then we went to Hemet, and I spent the night with my friend from there, since that is were I used to live. Then we went to Las Vegas, and for the first day we shoped, then the next we went on rides in the Adventure Dome, then went to the Midway and played games. Then we went to Reno, and watched the New Years Fireworks. Then we drove all the way back here to Whidbey Island. We got home at 5 in the morning, after eating at Dennys at 4 in the morning!
